Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. Last reviewed October 2026.
This policy describes the website as it is actually built. Have it reviewed by the foundation’s legal adviser before launch, and update it if you add analytics, a payment gateway or a newsletter tool.

What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. Depending on the form, that is:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your city, availability and relevant experience, if you apply to volunteer;
- your institution, designation and partnership interest, if you enquire as an institution;
- the subject and content of your message.
Our server also records the IP address a submission came from, and the time it arrived, as a basic protection against automated abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your details.
- We do not share them with anyone outside the foundation, except where the law requires it.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent us a query.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to assess a volunteer application, to discuss a partnership, or to keep a record of correspondence. Nothing else.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie: a PHP session cookie. It keeps your form entries if a submission fails validation, and it carries the security token that protects the form against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser and holds no personal information.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Form submissions are emailed to the foundation and written to a log file on our hosting account that is not publicly accessible. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your query and to maintain reasonable records, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Children
Several of our programmes are for young children, but this website is intended for parents, guardians, educators and institutions. Please do not have a child submit a form. Where a form concerns a child, the details we ask for are the adult’s.
Your choices
Write to vistamindsocialfoundation@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Quote the reference number from your enquiry if you have one, so we can find it quickly.

Pages here link to WhatsApp and may link to partner institutions. Once you follow such a link, that organisation’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new review date.
